Nairobi, November 13th2020 Naivas Supermarket today launched their annual Christmas Campaign popularly referred to Kikwetu. This year’s Christmas campaign marks the 10th edition since the launch of the first Kikwetu in 2011.Kikwetu (Our way), has endeavored over the years to remain authentically Kenyan while delivering memorable experiences to customers through thematic campaigns during the festive season.
Kikwetu this year is anchored around the slogan “Krisi bila worries krisi na naivas”. It is aimed at igniting hopeful realism in the face of a global pandemic that has had far reaching implications than just devastation of health care systems. The tough economic times have affected consumers spending power and as such Naivas intends to make this Christmas a little less worrisome for shoppers.
Despite having been a tough business year, Naivas appreciates that it has been tough all around and as a way to ensure that it spreads cheer, they have invested 10M more as compared to last year making it a 40M investment in winnings.
