Nairobi, 30th November, 2020: Naivas supermarket opens their newest outlet at Ananas Mall, Thika on the 1st of December, 2020.
The mall is located in Makongeni along Garissa Road in Thika where naivas occupies 32,382Square feet of the mall’s ground floor space which brings naivas Supermarkets outlets tally at 68. This also brings the number of outlets in Thika Town to two with the other naivas outlet being in Thika CBD.
This new development comes barely a week after the opening of naivas Supermarkets 67th outlet in the heart of Nairobi CBD at Hazina Towers (Former Nakumatt Lifestyle). It also opens its doors during the exciting naivas annual Christmas Campaign ‘kikwetu’ whose 2020 tagline is “Krisi Bila Worries, Krisi na naivas”. During the campaign, shoppers will enjoy crazy in store offers as well as stand a chance to win gift vouchers or mbuzis. This is all in an effort to ensure a truly authentic Kenyan Christmas for all its shoppers especially in a year where shoppers have had to bear the brunt of COVID-19.
Commenting on the development, Ananas Mall Manager, Emily Warue Gachego said the move fits within the mall’s strategic objective to enhance variety for the shoppers.

The retailer still has a busy December ahead with a second outlet set to be open in Ongata Rongai and another in the coastal region.
